Introduction of the restaurant
Odile and Catherine welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere in Romans-sur-Isère>, right in the heart of the ancient city. Drawing its inspiration from the old brasseries of Lyon, this restaurant/tea house with an atypical decor will certainly not leave you indifferent and will allow you to savour your meal in an original and enjoyable setting. Le Comptoir des Loges is the oldest establishment in the city and was created in the years around 1920. It was first a bar/restaurant and was called Le Café des Voyageurs. It changed hands several times but in 2007, when the previous owner bought it and renamed it Le Van Gogh, the restaurant took on its current configuration. In 2011, Odile and Catherine decided to join forces to take it over and changed its name : it then became Le Comptoir des Loges. The restaurant keeps the theme it had before but the two new owners have added a personal touch.
